75th anniversary celebrations

The company introduced a system of flexible working hours on 1 April, thus decoupling operating times from individual employees' working schedules. At the end of June, Edelstahlwerke Buderus celebrated its 75th anniversary with its customers and employees and their families, and former employees now in retirement. Investment concentrated on continuing the “rationalisation of crude steel production” project. Another investment project was implemented in the forge, where a forging furnace and an annealing furnace were installed.
