Production of Anoxin sheet steel, and successful enhancement of the oxygen smelting process

Start of production of Anoxin steel sheet (equivalent to the Krupp V2A-material, for which the Röchling-Buderus steel works had a licence), which was used for purposes such as the apparatus manufacture operation expanded when the goods wagon repair operation was terminated. Apparatus and machines were made of Anoxin grades, i.e. V2A grades, especially for the chemicals industry. The Röchling-Buderus steel works succeed in improving the oxygen smelting process adopted from the USA. This made it possible to reclaim almost entirely the alloys from the steel-making scrap metal and butt ingots.
