2022
With the installation of a fully enclosed flame cutting system, large-sized scrap pieces can be cut for remelting and returned into new products
With the construction of a state-of-the-art dedusting plant for the steel mill, Buderus Edelstahl becomes one of the most environmentally friendly steel producers
2010
The new forging press with an upsetting force of 10,000 tons provides optimum
production conditions for largest ingots
The Austrian voestalpine AG takes over Böhler-Uddeholm AG
Sale of Edelstahlwerke Buderus AG to the Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm AG.
Name changed to Buderus Edelstahl GmbH
Crude steel production reaches an all-time high and Robert Bosch GmbH acquires the Edelstahlwerke Buderus AG
With the 1.2738 mod. TS-HH, later known as Thruhard Supreme, we invented another top grade for ever larger mold frames
The material 1.2738 developed by Buderus Edelstahl is included in the standards system
and subsequently becomes the worldwide standard for large mold frames
1965
Change of name to Edelstahlwerke Buderus AG and complete integration into the Flick Group
The company is renamed Stahlwerke Röchling Buderus
Buderus-Röchling AG steelworks founded on April 20, 1920
The company goes public and is now called Buderus’sche Eisenwerke AG
Johann Wilhelm Buderus II takes over the management of the charcoal blast furnace plant Friedrichshütte
