Why nitrogen?
Buderus Edelstahl has been using the alloying element nitrogen for many years. Nitrogen not only forms nitrides and thus increases hardness but also ensures better corrosion resistance. These properties, combined with ingot casting, are the basic requirements for the most homogeneous microstructures.
